Being the highest mountain in Iran and Middle East, Damavand peaks at 5671 m. Damavand plays an important role in Iranian mythology and literature. In this excursion, we take a popular route to the top, Southern Route.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Imam Khomeini Airport and greeted by the tour guide who will take us to the hotel.

Day 2

Today’s excursion will consist of visiting Sa’d Abad and Niavaran Palaces.

Drive to Polour Camp and stay the night at Polour climbing house.


Day 3

We will drive to Gousfand Sara Camp using 4WD vehicles and climb up to Bargah-e Sevom Shelter.

We will stay the night in the shelter.


Day 4

Today we try to go for the peak and then retreat to Barghah-e Sevom Shelter.

Day 5

Once we have climbed down from the trek to the peak, we drive back to Tehran.

Day 6

We will visit Golestan Palace and a National Museum showcasing pre-historic periods until the Islamic era.

Our last visit is the Grand Bazaar of Tehran.


Day 7: Departure

You will fly back home.
